Willow Tree Farm is located on the North Fork of Eastern Long Island. Nestled in the middle of farm country, it is a departure from city life, yet close enough for easy access. Our state of the art barn was designed with the horse in mind. The attached indoor has Travel Right footing and is insulated for a cool ride in the summer and warm enough for rides all winter long. We feed the best hay and grain, and turn out on big grass & clover filled paddocks. We offer boarding, lessons, full service, and training in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. We cater toIMG_0053 RESIZEDboth serious equestrians and pleasure riders.  Our stable is designed with the horse in mind and safety at the forefront.  Each stall is 12’ x 12’, with a 4’x 4’ window, anti-casting rails, individual water lines, a heated bucket in the winter, and a fan in the summer.  There are 2 indoor and 2 outdoor hot & cold wash stalls, with heat lamps in the winter months. Because of our intimate size, only 24 stalls, we are able to customize care and provide a personalized feeling to each horse and owner.  You won’t worry about blankets, turnout boots, supplements, or feed again.  We feed Triple Crown products and second cut hay.

18We offer half-day turnout on grass and clover-filled paddocks.  We have two large riding fields for riding, jumping, or just walking and grazing.

Our horse-keeping philosophy is natural and holistic, and is based on years of experience, research, and an amazing support group of practitioners!

Mette believes that a great ride begins with great footing and has taken great pains to create and maintain state of the art surfaces with which to ride and train on, without ever having to worry about injuries due to bad footing. We have indoor and outdoor rings, as well as riding fields with jumps.

Our lounge, tack and bathroom are all heated in the winter, so come relax and enjoy the ride!
